¿QUIÉN SOMOS?

Somos un grupo de amigas y conocidas (Grupo whatsapp: Ahora!) que hemos decidido ayudar como iniciativa particular, al pueblo de Hamdallaye en la província de Kolda en Senegal. 

¿PARA QUÉ?

Después de continuar viendo el de goteo de pateras en las últimas semanas desembarcando en las costas de Canarias, no podemos quedarnos de brazos cruzados. Para nosotras una solución pasa por la ayuda en origen y esta ayuda la vamos a orientar en solidificar y asegurar la educación de los más pequeños, para que el futuro talento se quede en Hamdallaye y no tenga que huir del país por la falta de recursos. Para nosotras la Educación es Libertad y también es libertad poder tomar la decisión de quedarse en el país con los recursos educativos necesarios o marcharse pero sin huir. "La educación es el alma más poderosa que puedes usar para cambiar el mundo" Nelson Mandela.

¿PORQUE EN HAMDALLAYE?

Somos conocedoras de este pueblo por nuestro querido Moussa Khouma, afincado en Mataró hace mas de 30 años y originario de Hamdallaye (Kolda, Senegal). Él como muchos más, llegó a nuestra tierra en patera y después de sobrevivir en el trayecto, se prometió que su misión de vida sería la de ayudar a su comunidad y a su familia desde aquí, de manera que los recursos que obtiene trabajando son para subministrar, dar y mandar productos para mejorar la calidad de vida de su familia y alegados. 

OBJETIVO del PROYECTO:

El pueblo de Hamdallaye situado en la província de Kolda ya tiene una escuela en la que atienden 40 alumnos aproximadamente, l’École Première Hamdallaye Alfa pero está construida de cañizo trenzado. 

Eso hace que cuando llueve o hace viento se suspendan las clases. El objetivo de este proyecto consiste en construir la escuela con materiales mas sólidos, bloques de arena y cemento, y el tejado construido que sea metálico y acabado pintado.

El proyecto también incluye la construcción de los lavabos y aseo ya que actualmente solo disponen de 1 letrina (agujero en el suelo con pozo) al aire libre delimitada con cañizo trenzado y sin techo, situada a pocos metros de la escuela.

PRESUPUESTO Y FASES DE LA CONSTRUCCIÓN:

Las medidas de la construcción de l’École Première Hamdallaye Alfa de serán 48 metros cuadrados distribuidos en dos clases. Se construirá otra edificación con bloques de arena y cemento con techo metálico para el aseo y el lavabos, uno en total.

El tiempo de construcción es de dos meses desde que reciben la donación. El presupuesto es de 12.000€ 

OTRO PROYECTO FUTURO:

Cuando tengamos los fondos para la construcción de l’École Première Hamdallaye Alfa-Ahora y su aseo con lavabo, nos gustaría continuar trabajando para conseguir fondos destinados a la construcción del Centro de Atención Primaria de Salud ya que las visitas las hace actualmente en dicha escuela.

 WHO ARE WE?

We are a group of friends and acquaintances (called Grupo Ahora!), who has decided to help, as a private initiative, the town of Hamdallaye in the Kolda province in Senegal.

FOR WHAT?

After continuing to see the boats dripping, in the past recent weeks, and arriving on the coasts of the Canary Islands, we cannot stand idly by. For us, one of the solutions is helping the country in origin so, we are going to guide this aid in solidifying and ensuring the education of the youngest, so that future talent stays in Hamdallaye and does not have to flee the country due to lack of resources. For us, Education is Freedom and it is also freedom to be able to make the decision to stay in the country with the necessary educational resources or to leave but without fleeing.

WHY IN HAMDALLAYE?

We are familiar with this town from our beloved Moussa, who lived in Mataró for more than 30 years and was originally from Hamdallaye. He, like many others, came to our land by boat and after surviving on the journey, he promised himself that his life mission would be to help his community and his family from here, so that the resources he obtains working are to provide , give and send products to improve the quality of life of your family and friends.

GOALS OF THE PROJECT

The village of Hamdallaye located in the province of Koldaalready has a school with approximately 40 students, l’École Première Hamdallaye Alfa, but it is built of braided cane.

That means that when it rains or it’s windy the classes are suspended. The objective of this project is to build the school with more solid materials, sand and cement blocks, and the built roof in metal and painted finish.

The project also includes the construction of the sink and toilet, since they currently only have 1 latrine (hole in the ground with a well) in the open air, delimited with a braided fence and no roof, located a few meters from the school.

BUDGET AND CONSTRUCTION PHASES

The measures of the construction of l’École Première Hamdallaye Alfa will be 48 square meters distributed in two classes. Another building will be built with blocks of sand and cement with a metal roof for the toilet and sinks, one in total.

The construction time is two months since they receive the donation. The budget is € 12,000

ANOTHER FUTURE PROJECT

When we have the funds for the solid construction of l'École Première Hamdallaye Alfa-Now and its toilet with a sink, we would like to continue working to obtain funds for the construction of the Primary Health Care Center since the visits are currently made in said school .
